Custom Hot-Rolled Special Profiles

Customized to Customer Requirements

Hot rolling is a core plastic deformation process for custom steel profiles. The billets are heated above their recrystallization temperature (typically 1,100°C–1,250°C) to ensure superior ductility and minimal forming resistance. The steel is then progressively shaped through a multi-stand rolling train equipped with pairs of counter-rotating rolls, custom-machined according to the client’s proprietary cross-sectional profile drawings. The resulting hot-rolled profiles feature a dense metallurgical structure and uninterrupted grain flow lines. They can either be deployed directly as structural end-products or serve as premium feedstock for secondary downstream forming operations, including cold drawing, cold rolling, and precision machining.

Why Choose Our Custom Hot-Rolled Profiles?

热轧优势1

Design Flexibility

Utilizing custom-developed roll passes, our factory can continuously form non-standard cross-sections with complex geometries, special grooves, asymmetrical edges, or specific flanges in a single pass (e.g., high-precision industrial linear guides, slider bases, or custom tracks). This breaks the dimensional constraints of standard off-the-shelf components, empowering your engineers to perfectly optimize the "strength-to-weight ratio" of their parts and achieve more compact, innovative mechanical designs.

热轧优势2

Significant Cost Reduction

Custom hot rolling can directly produce geometric shapes that closely match the final part's cross-section (Near-Net Shape). This eliminates the need to purchase oversized standard steel blanks for extensive CNC cutting or milling. It not only minimizes expensive raw material waste but also drastically reduces downstream machining time, tool wear, and labor costs, making it particularly ideal for mass production.

热轧优势3

Superior Structural Strength

The hot rolling process operates above the metal's recrystallization temperature. This physical rolling action compresses and eliminates internal micro-pores while refining the metal grains. More importantly, it aligns the internal grain flow perfectly with the continuous contour of the profile's cross-section. Compared to parts welded from multiple steel plates or machined from solid blocks (which interrupts the internal grain structure), custom hot-rolled profiles deliver significantly higher overall tensile strength, impact toughness, and fatigue life.
